Summary

Mention 'Medieval Knights' and people may think of King Arthur and his knights of the Round Table。 But these warriors weren't just heroes from fables and legend。 They were real men who strapped themselves into heavy armor and bravely charged into battle。 Dynamic illustrations and engaging tales of famous knights teach readers what life was like as an elite armored-warrior in Medieval Europe。

This was a good physiological mystery that I would recommend to others。 I could see what was coming but still really enjoyed reading the story。

3。5 rounded up。 This book was good。 It was quite unbelievable but a quick, easy read。I recommend if you’re looking for an interesting concept, but quite unbelievable read

Cierra Spears -The Ladies Reading Place

Definitely a good twist at the end。 not at all what I was expecting, but overall a good read。

I enjoyed this book。 I love a therapist that has as many if not more problems than her patients。 😉 Both Winnie and Juno were just as likable as they were unlikable。 I can see where many reviewers didn’t feel connected to the characters but I enjoyed this book。 Fun ride and the narration was excellent。

So thrilling! Knocked off one star because it ended and I still had SO many questions。 Sequel?

This wasn’t a mystery or a thriller in my opinion。 I figured it out pretty quickly, with the exception of one twist。 I really wasn’t impressed。

This was a fun thriller with several twists that I did not see coming。 My loan was about to expire, so I had to rush the ending, but I still enjoyed it。 There were a few plot issues that didn't make sense and certainly some parts that were a bit outlandish, but I would still recommend it for thriller lovers。 This was a fun thriller with several twists that I did not see coming。 My loan was about to expire, so I had to rush the ending, but I still enjoyed it。 There were a few plot issues that didn't make sense and certainly some parts that were a bit outlandish, but I would still recommend it for thriller lovers。 。。。more

It was a good book。 Interesting premise。 Only 3 stars because nothing really surprised me。 Even the "twists" weren't necessarily surprising or intense。 It was a good book。 Interesting premise。 Only 3 stars because nothing really surprised me。 Even the "twists" weren't necessarily surprising or intense。 。。。more

Explores a lot more than what it seems to on the surface — homelessness, drug addiction, class differences。 Didn’t expect some of the twists at the end。

Stopped half way through。。I tried to finish but then late fees were due at library。。and so not worth it。。。should have returned after chapter 3

I thought this was a good book。 I read some negative reviews but I’m glad I read it。 In the beginning I was a bit confused about what was going on but that was the beauty of the book!! As an answer dropped into place, it made it more interesting。 By half way through the book I couldn’t put it down。 It was creepy and intriguing。 This was the first book by this author that I had read。

At a certain point, the plot stretched my willing suspension of disbelief too far and it snapped。

I couldn’t get into it。 Like nothing was happening and I didn’t wanna waste my time。 😬 I do like this author a lot tho so I was bummed

Eh, just ok for me。 I found The Wrong Family confusing to start, and while I realize this was purposeful for plot/suspense, it affected my reading enjoyment。 As it went on it made more sense through very slow reveals。 Unlikable characters all around, except the son, Sam。 I didn't care what happened to any of them。 I did appreciate the social exploration regarding homelessness, and how layered and varied a homeless situation can be。 Main lesson from this book: don't stick your nose where it doesn Eh, just ok for me。 I found The Wrong Family confusing to start, and while I realize this was purposeful for plot/suspense, it affected my reading enjoyment。 As it went on it made more sense through very slow reveals。 Unlikable characters all around, except the son, Sam。 I didn't care what happened to any of them。 I did appreciate the social exploration regarding homelessness, and how layered and varied a homeless situation can be。 Main lesson from this book: don't stick your nose where it doesn't belong。 。。。more

I like this author’s writing! It’s always suspenseful and interesting and unique。 I did not know how it would end and that is what’s special about her books。 I loved learning about homelessness through a character’s voice too。

Krista Merlini

Wow。。 definitely a last page book。 Very interesting read。

Susan Danison

Twists and turns 。。 things I never expected。

Brian Foye

There weren’t any twists or turns and the “climax” was very underwhelming。 Such a slow book。 Giving it a 2 only because of the crime that was committed。

Elizabeth Marino

the most bizarre, unrealistic book I’ve ever read

Abby Custer

I loved this at first。 Then I had my “flip back what did you miss” moment。 I felt like the ending could have been better developed?? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS。 Overall, great read! Fisher keeps you on your toes!

Kelly Dunsmore

It kept me wanting to read constantly, but so many characters were annoying
